The Indigenous Peolpe's Partnership Cluster (IPPC) work with Indigenous communities want and what are their priorities, rather than us assuming we know what they need. The IPPC believe it is important to partner with key people
in the different communities to ensure that they are partnering with them on priorities they have identified as meaningful for their specific needs.

Our Guest Speaker, Birgit Wartenburg from Indigenous People’s Partnership Cluster (IPPC) provided a very informative speech on all the amazing work they do within different indigenous communities by assisting in improving their living conditions, improving literacy and supporting women's shelters.

Their vision is to build trust, foster community involvement in order to build community members ownership and seek to develop personal contacts and friendships. When Indigenous communities determine and select projects that impact them and their children positively, we do our best to support their aspirations. This includes access to quality education and the resources necessary for effective learning
.
They listen, Learn and respond! The IPPC want to help provide assistance for what Indigenous people actually want and understand their priorities, rather than assuming we know what they need.
