STIRLING – As we all enjoyed the much anticipated, first few weeks of glorious spring weather, Stirling Rotarians were hard at work, sorting through the many items that would stock the shelves and fill the tables, all assembled to stage the local service club’s 24th annual, Giant Yard Sale. The sale itself was a special two-day event, held Friday May 31st and Saturday June 1st, on site, at the historic Stirling railway station in the heart of the village.

“Once again, I am pleased to say that it was a huge success,” beamed Stirling Rotarian and Yard Sale organizer, Donna Graff, “and it’s all thanks to the incredibly generous people in this caring community, who step up to help us, year after year. We’re grateful for the many donations of all sale items and especially thankful to everybody who dropped by to shop and snap up the occasional bargain.”

Although the Rotary Club of Stirling is an affiliated member club of Rotary International, it has always been a community-based, service club. “Every dollar from our Giant Yard Sale will help fund our many community projects.” stated Graff, following the sale, adding, “So a big ‘thank you’ to all who helped make it happen…and of course we look forward to seeing everybody next year.”
